My workday always starts with a coffee and a status meeting with my team. We share what we have done the day before and our plans for the day. We then start working on our tasks. We have a daily routine but every day is different with new tasks, challenges and business needs.
I have experience with data visualization and business analysis. Currently, I’m working with Power BI.

What drives me is that you never stop learning. You think you have a good grasp of a tool or technology and then suddenly, a new task offers new challenges, which is kind of exciting for me.
I love the secure, healthy environment here. When I say secure, I mean mentally and emotionally which I, as a mother coming back from a yearlong maternity break, find important.

I'm very happy about the opportunity I had to attend the European Women in Tech conference in Amsterdam in June. The theme of the conference was resilience and there were sessions and workshops related to product development, innovation, self-growth, self-care etc.
From hearing the stories of female top executives in IT and how their journey has not been a straight line, to top trends impacting the global workforce, introduction to new tools, Metaverse, dealing with our saboteurs and what not, we were truly inspired and excited. Not only did I meet new people there, but I got to know more about my colleagues, which turned out to be so fun and inspiring. Resilience can not only be seen in the stories of those who were on stage but it is within us already.
The conference raised a number of questions. How can we implement what we have learned in the conference in our daily tasks and projects at Cegal? Maybe we can find mentors and sponsors, or improve on skills like listening and storytelling, which is present in every single task we do. There were discussed so many different topics that can be applied to improve our performance and ourselves.
How can we find not only mentors but sponsors that give us a push when needed and how can we do the same for others? How can we encourage women to overcome their self-doubts and hesitations to unleash their true potential? What can we do to secure personal growth in addition to the hard work we are doing already? Maybe we can be vocal about it, start taking more initiatives, and find or simply create opportunities.
I know what I bring to the table. So trust me when I say I’m not afraid to eat alone.
