SQL Health is a Managed Services concept created by the Microsoft consulting firm Systemtech, which is now part of Cegal.
A Managed Services subscription such as SQL Health on a Microsoft SQL database means that experienced and focused DBAs are connected to and work flexibly with the rest of the IT organization, if necessary. The concept was created so that the customers could release resources internally, that they could be proactive and that together we could create as optimal a database operation as possible.
SQL Health is designed so that it:
Using a combination of set alarms and human experience/best practice, we are proactive in the installation, depending on which managed services packages have been purchased. The advantage is that small and large problems are detected and can be solved before they grow big and cause dissatisfied users, or even worse, database crashes.
The database, which can also be referred to as the heart of the IT installation, is used every day by vital applications and behind them, users who expect well-functioning and uninterrupted IT.
Precisely stable and predictable operation is what managed services subscriptions like SQL Health help with.
Cegal has a lot of expertise and extensive experience in a wide range of database technologies, including Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL.
Within these areas, we provide both consulting and Managed Services offerings. We also assist with advice on an appropriate solution based on our customers' needs. This may include requirements for uptime or minimal data loss in case of accidents.
Systemtech, which created SQL Health, has become a part of Cegal, which is why SQL Health functionality will eventually become a part of Cegal's managed services concept, Basecare Discoverâ„¢.
