Cegal makes another acquisition in Denmark
Cegal acquires 100% of the shares in the Danish Microsoft company Systemtech A/S, expanding its portfolio in the Danish market. The acquisition will give Cegal a more solid footing and enable the company to deliver comprehensive IT solutions to current and new customers in an increasingly complex technology landscape.
Systemtech A/S was established in 2004 and is a Microsoft expert that offers customers in both the private and public sector good, stable, and performance-optimized IT. The company specializes in databases, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure SQL, and has 7 employees based in Skanderborg.
"With increased digitization and a strong growth in our customers' data volumes, I experience a desire to be able to work efficiently with data, and especially the demand to be able to combine several technologies is increasing. By becoming part of Cegal, which in many areas matches Systemtech in terms of values and customer types, I see a great opportunity to combine our specialized expertise on the Microsoft data platform with Cegal's breadth on other platforms such as Oracle. This makes us an even more complete provider of specialized database services", says the Managing Director of Systemtech A/S, Bjarne "Rasser” Rasmussen.
A good match that strengthens the customer offering
Cegal and Systemtech are a good match. The companies share the same values and focus on creating high customer satisfaction. Today, Cegal is an important technology supplier within Oracle databases and cloud solutions and a preferred partner for monitoring, integration, and development of critical databases on Oracle and PostgreSQL technologies. With an explosion of data, the number of database technologies increases with customers, becoming even more critical.
We are happy to expand the team in Denmark. With Systemtech on board, we can now offer customers throughout Denmark a complete offering within Open Source, Oracle and Microsoft, both with secure 24/7 monitoring, operation of business-critical data and ground-breaking expertise in how to ensure the right access to data and migration to the cloud.
