What does a typical workday look like to you?
A typical working day for me starts with a cup of coffee and a review of my calendar to plan the day. I spend a lot of my time preparing client presentations. Although our products are the same, each customer is unique, so we need to ensure that we present our solutions in a way that best meets their specific needs. I typically have 1-3 client presentations per week.
When I'm not preparing or delivering presentations, I spend time with our developers and product owners. We continuously discuss how we can improve our products to ensure they remain relevant and valuable to our customers. It is incredibly rewarding because it gives me the opportunity to contribute my knowledge and experience to the product development process.
Last but not least, I work with our marketing team. I generate technical material for various software campaigns and help communicate the technical aspects of our products in an easily digestible way.
I've heard you work across different regions. Can you expand on that?
Some days can be a bit offset because I have meetings with clients and colleagues from the US. It's a bit like having jet lag without travelling! It's cool to work with some cool people around the world.
Although I work a lot with people abroad, I also have the pleasure of working closely with Danish customers such as Ørsted Innargi. It is super cool to be able to use what I learn from the international work here at home in Denmark.
Which technologies do you work with?
I work with Blueback G&G software products, which are geology and geophysics software products designed to assist geoscientists and geophysicists.
Furthermore, I work with our G&G plug-ins for Petrel (a major SLB software platform) designed to address functionality and technology gaps in Petrel.

What drives you at work and in your role, what's fun?
I enjoy a good interactions with customers. I particularly enjoy presenting our most popular G&G products, as we often receive recognition and positive feedback for them.
What is the best thing about working in Cegal?
Work in a team where we all agree on how the work should be done. Despite this general agreement, we often discuss how to best solve different tasks.
