What does a typical workday look like for you?

I am mainly involved in projects as a technical project manager and contribute non-functional solution descriptions in RFI or RFPs. Lately, my work has been about specifying solutions or component designs for risk assessments and technical implementation in cloud-based solutions.

Which technologies do you work with?

Oracle Cloud/Azure, Multicloud, and hybrid cloud solutions (preferably with a focus on license optimization, Oracle, and renewable energy).

Do you use AI in your job, and how?

So far, my use of AI has been limited, but we have implemented AI in larger consolidation projects. A specific example is when we had to reduce the number of production zones in the banking and insurance sector from 50 to a minimum while maintaining all the security requirements of the original zones. This required thorough processing, systematization of data, and criteria for each zone so that they could be used by AI technology to present effective consolidation alternatives.

What drives you at work and in your role, and what's fun?

Although it may seem like a cliché, it is crucial to deliver a project or task on time, with the right quality, and within the agreed costs. When this forms the basis for a successful delivery, we experience success when the customer is excited and feels they have received more than originally asked for.

What is your favorite podcast, and why?

"Burde vært pensum" at NRK. I am fascinated by the complexity and genius of what is taken for granted.

Is there anything else fun we should know about you?

In terms of active interests, it's hiking, fishing, trail running, and motorcycles. ⛰️🎣🏃 I have run the Lysefjorden-inn three times and the Preikestolen marathon. Last year, two good friends and I went on a motorcycle trip to Paris, via Normandy, and we are well underway with planning the next trip - Stelvio. 🏍️

Is there anything else fun we should know about you? Or something about you that not many people know?

Well, here's something that I don't think many people know:

• Was one of four who started Sysco back in 2004 ✔️
• Building and restoring vintage motorcycles and café racers 🏍️
