I am responsible for a small part of our customers in the Managed Services team. I am in charge of the application systems, database, and server operations. I typically carry out large planned tasks, but operational problems often must be solved quickly or tasks that the customer's support organization cannot solve. In addition, I assist the rest of the Managed Services team in solving tasks for other than my regular customers, who are both customers who run on-prem and in the cloud.

I work with so many different technologies that it doesn't make sense to list them all here, but platform-wise, Oracle databases, and fusion middleware are where I spend most of my time. And it doesn't matter if it's on Windows or Linux.
I also work with several scripting languages within these operating systems and I am particularly excited about the operational benefits that Ansible provides. It makes me very happy when a trivial task can be automated so that we can concentrate on the difficult and fun tasks.
I must also mention PL/SQL, which is great for many complex data operations, at a speed that cannot be achieved in non-database technologies.
There is room for project wishes within the interests of Cegal and the customers, and this gives great freedom, but also great responsibility, when solving tasks. It is possible to mix private life and work, meaning you can carry out work tasks in the evening or through the weekend.
We have a good team spirit at Cegal, and my colleagues are always willing to help solve a problem. There is room for both seriousness and humor.
I am a consultant and carry out many projects within infrastructure, including databases, web servers, and networks. I feel privileged to have so many different projects - meaning there is never a boring day at work.

I often identify bottlenecks in response times, isolate them, and solve them. For this, I use our in-house developed product Basecare Discover™, which not only collects information about web and database servers but also from endpoints, networks, servers, and general HealthCheck. In addition, of course, I use the tools that Oracle makes available.
After graduating, I joined a project group that had to port a Mainframe system to Sybase or Oracle. The choice fell on Oracle, which turned out to be very fortunate, as Sybase subsequently did not become as widespread as Oracle is today.

This quote is a good barrier against stress if you have many tasks.
One should not complain about the job, the opposite is a bigger problem.
Android or iPhone?
Call or text message?
Streaming or Linear TV?
iPhone, all Apple products. I like the way everything just works together without you having to think too much about it.
I'm in different Messenger groups, family, friends and a mix of these. This means that I always use Messenger for small short messages, but it is now nice to make calls as well.
Both. If you just want to relax a bit, flow TV is preferable. It is said that the brain relaxes more with flow TV than when you sleep.
I am a family person, so my children and grandchildren have a very high priority. I enjoy the experiences we have together, whether it's in nature, at the Zoo, or at a good concert. When there is some time left I have some projects with the Raspberry Pi, a wonderful little 'computer' that can do everything from controlling the home to industrial applications.
