Since January 2022 - wrote my bachelor here from January to May.
A typical day at work for me will often start with me arriving at the office around 07, having a coffee, and eating my overnight oats at the desk while I pick up where I left off the day before.
At 08:30, we have a daily "Call-up", which consists of 40% job reporting and 60% historical information, fun facts, and pleasant catch-ups on life. After the morning meeting, I work on today's to-do, which nowadays is to design a Power App to be used internally. We are creating an application that we call Customer Satisfaction. This is an app for following up on assignments. Professionals for hire or Managed Service services. The purpose of the follow-up is to ensure that the consultant/team can carry out the assignment as agreed, and has the necessary qualifications, working conditions, skills, etc.
Around 11:00, everyone is heading down for lunch. I try to be careful with money being a student, and I bring lunch from home and sit down with the others. After lunch, it's time to continue working with the PowerApp and have a few cups of coffee before heading home at 15.00.
In Cegal I have worked with Power BI, Enterprise Architect, and currently, I work with Power Apps.
That as a student I get the opportunity to try so many different things.
I am hungry to acquire more and new knowledge.Genette

The best thing about working at Cegal is the people, the conversations, and the helpfulness. I know that when I get to the office I'm going to have fun conversations, I'm going to meet people who care, who wonder how things are going and how the exam period has been.
The reason why I ended up in the IT industry was a bit random. I have always liked what is digital and technical, i.e. mobiles, PCs, TVs, etc. I have always had an understanding of how to set up various digital things and an understanding of how they work. When I was applying to study at UiS, I chose a study that I thought was a bit about IT and how to use various programs. What I didn't show was that on this course we were to learn to program our own programs for the next three years and familiarize ourselves with computer technology in detail! It was a challenge, but as an "old" athlete, this was just another challenge that I wanted to take!
My tip for getting more women into the Tech industry and how to recruit girls to choose data-related studies is to start promoting the different directions and opportunities beyond the tech industry early on. That we show that technology does not have to be something you do in a dark boys' room alone, but that it is something you can create and do together with someone!

"Millionaire" with Christian Stand where he interviews young millionaires who have done very well within their passion. This must be because I love listening to people who are passionate about something and hearing what they have done to get where they are today.

I am a YES person, who goes along with everything and takes on most challenges that I am challenged to!
Been riding motocross since I was 5 years old and have traveled the world to compete. At the age of 16, I moved alone to Belgium to focus on sports at the same time as I commuted home to finish high school. Already at the age of 15, I had a gold card on SAS after all the travelling. (They probably didn't think that such young people travel enough to get free access to all the liquor in the lounge, hehe) 😊
My interests are the classic working out, but it comes from one life as a top athlete. Other interests are arranging or setting up private events for friends or in a work context! Generally very happy to have a lot to do and meet new people!
Fun-facts about me is that I love"Skoleboller", which is a Norwegian pastery with vanilla curd and shredded coconut, but I don't eat the vanilla curd.
What I take with me from my time at Mesternes Mester, wich is a Norwegian TV show where former athletes compete in a wide range of skills and exercises, is all the good conversations with the other participants. Being allowed to talk to and get to know better the people I looked up to when I was little was absolutely fantastic!
I learned a lot about unity and making each other better, even though we were competitors. The sharing culture of the national alpine team has motivated me to develop a culture of knowledge sharing in various arenas. At school and in the workplace. In order for us to go far, it is important to make each other good and share the knowledge we have and help each other up.
