What does a typical workday look like to you?

Being responsible for Cegal EnergyX is like a high-speed rollercoaster that I try to manage while making some decisions along the way.
I have been lucky to have two great guys alongside me, Ulf Marius and Frode since we started this adventure three years ago.
So from day to day, I try to follow up on our products, make deliveries happen, and look for new opportunities.

Which technologies do you work with?

I have become an old dinosaur trying to keep up with these leopards running around me 😊  Together we make products using the latest technology in this incredible world of Microsoft Azure.

The most important thing we at EnergyX do for our customers is to make their everyday life easier. Something I truly believe we will achieve!

What drives you at work and in your role, what's fun?

Having so many great people with knowledge and the willingness to go the extra mile. Always. Gives me lots of energy.
I love this crew and the job!

What is the best thing about working in Cegal?

That would be the people, the customers, and all the exciting opportunities.

You will give a lecture at Energyworld on Thursday - "From idea to production in six months" what do you want to highlight here? 

Cegal EnergyX wants to share our experience using cloud-native technology to make fast-value software and to have fun on the way. We have not been afraid to make tough decisions, use our deep business knowledge, and be laser-focused to deliver basic functionality on time and cost.

What expectations do you have for this year's Energyworld?

This is the second time I attend Energyworld and I hope to see that all the tech companies are on their toes exploring the new technologies and opportunities that are out there. Hope to see that we, Cegal, are in that group that is a spearhead among those tech companies.

Is there anything else we should know about you?

I am the father of three and a husband of an understanding wife (of a husband that has been working a bit too much over the years) and life is busy. Running from work to dancing classes, handball, gymnastics and a hockey. I try to stay fit by running around Stokkavannet 2 - 3 times a week.

Even though a busy life I’m happy with the speed and things happening around me. I love to travel to see the world... Been to many places but I really want to experience more!

Someone would say I'm like an open book. 😊
