I always start by sitting down at the computer with a cup of coffee, log in to the various systems and start the day by going through cases and alarms.
There are always different types of requests from colleagues internally, usually via Teams but also via email. I do my best to catch up and help where needed. Incidents do happen, of course, and then it is always important to be quick and that there is "everyone on deck" to try to solve the problems.
I never know when something might happen, so it's important that I'm alert, prepared and sure of what I'm doing.
I always try to have a good relationship with my colleagues and our customers. For me, it is important to have a good relationship with the customers so that they feel confident that we are taking care of their databases.
The technologies I primarily work with are MS SQL, Windows and PowerShell.
Yes, the mission I am working on right now. I started as a DBA consultant four years ago and I am still here. I didn't know what to expect and it was brand new, but I've managed to sort out the work and the client is happy with the work I've done as they still want me on their team. It has really been a tough journey but also been very educational and fun.
Almost every day I learn something new. I have always needed challenges to enjoy my job. Having a job where every day looks the same has never been my thing. It is exciting to work in the IT industry as a DBA because it is constantly growing and changing, so you need to constantly update your knowledge. It's the best for me.
I am driven by constantly developing myself, and that I learn something new every day!

The best thing about Cegal is probably all the incredibly nice colleagues! To me it feels like we are one big family who enjoy each other's company and also support each other when needed.
It is a difficult question to answer. I would say that I am best at getting things in order, documenting, creating routines and improvements.
There should simply be a system and order 😊
I use Keto often to keep track of what I eat 😉. It's easy to eat bad food when you have a sedentary job like mine.

As a child I traveled a lot and we lived in Ecuador for about two years before I started school here in Sweden. My mother and father worked at the Swedish embassy in Quito.
I remember thinking it was hard because I was taller than everyone else in my preschool class and everyone wanted to touch my blonde hair all the time.
I had many pets when we lived in Ecuador - dog, cat, hen, chicken and a rabbit that soon after we got it had 13 babies that destroyed our whole garden 😊
Otherwise, I like to sing and love to dance salsa💃
