Picks up director from Kongsberg Digital to strengthen the development of solutions for the power industry

Cegal strengthens our focus on IT solutions for the power and renewables industry and appoints Marianne Blikø as product director for the area. Marianne has extensive experience from both the power industry and technology development and comes from Kongsberg Digital.

"Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to work with the green shift, a topic I am passionate about. The energy industry faces major challenges in the coming years, while a comprehensive digital transformation is underway throughout the value chain. This makes it even more exciting to work at Cegal, which is becoming a leading global technology company for the entire energy industry," says Marianne Blikø, who is now Director of Power & Renewables Products at Cegal.

Blikø holds a master's degree in electrical power engineering from NTNU and has worked with both power generation and power grids, as well as developing software for operating the power grid. Blikø has previously worked at NTE, Tensio, and now holds the position of product manager for Kongsberg Digital's deliveries to the power grid. She says that Cegal's strong focus on sustainability and diversity in recent years has made it an attractive company to work for.

"Now I'm excited to help the energy industry tackle the challenges they face using Cegal's technology," Blikø continues.

"Marianne has broad experience from the power industry in both generation and distribution, and has a passion for utilizing technology to strengthen the transition to renewable energy sources.
