Celise Skaar is employed as global sustainability lead at Cegal

ESG is fundamental to Cegal's vision of becoming a leading global technology company contributing to a more sustainable future. This area is further strengthened by hiring Celise Skaar as global head of sustainability.

Celise Skaar starts: “I want to contribute to Cegal becoming a leading global company in sustainability.”

Celise Skaar is well known as a social debater because of her strong commitment to sustainability, equality, and human rights. She comes from a position as a sustainability advisor at BDO and has a master's in environmental and resource management from the University of Southern Denmark.

Dagfinn Ringaas, CEO of Cegal, says: “Celise is structured, analytical, and proactive and has a deep passion for technology and sustainability. At BDO, Celise has served as a key resource for the ESG team, engaging in a broad spectrum of tasks across fundamental sustainability topics. She has made valuable contributions to sustainability reporting in accordance with various standards such as GRI, CPD, and TCFD. Celise has handled due diligence assessments, prepared for upcoming CSRD requirements, and conducted several double materiality assessments for various clients.”

Will become a leader in both technology and sustainability
