Cegal Hires New CTO From Microsoft
John Henrik Andersen joins Cegal as the new global chief technology officer (CTO). Andersen comes from Microsoft, where, for the past 18 years, he has held several leading positions globally.
Dagfinn Ringaas, CEO of Cegal, emphasizes: “I am thrilled to announce that John Henrik Andersen has decided to join Cegal as our new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). John Henrik comes from Microsoft, where he has a strong track record from various senior leadership positions across business units, operations, technology evangelism, and business development, both in Norway and globally.”
Ringaas adds: “The CTO role is critical for Cegal because we need to have more tech aces in front of our customers, senior executive leaders on top of technology trends and developments, make crucial and potentially existential decisions for the company going forward, ensure we utilize and bet on the right scalable technologies and last but not least, lift our strategic partnerships with both Microsoft and Oracle to a higher executive level to accelerate and succeed on our global growth journey.”

John Henrik Andersen is a highly recognized and experienced technology leader with an excellent combination of commercial mindset, customer focus, tech superpowers, ability to impact and influence senior decision-makers, and obviously strong relations at Microsoft.

He has had his last day as a Microsoft employee and will start at Cegal on December 1st.
