During the 1980s, a group of developers worked for an insurance company. They were tasked with developing an insurance solution with an open architecture which was scalable and flexible, had a modern look, and could also easily be upgraded.
During the 1990s, the developers who had designed the solution opted to buy their way out and establish TIA Technology in 1998. Since then, TIA Technology has offered its open and flexible software TIA Solution to insurers around the world. In 2020, TIA Technology was acquired by Sapiens, a global software provider for insurance companies.
TIA Solution is an application that handles all major insurance processes, supports and manages the entire insurance value chain, covering everything from marketing activity planning, quotations, strategy processes, compensation management, including integration with external service providers, to claims handling, reinsurance and management information.
TIA Solution boosts productivity for insurers through the use of digital planning and integrated automation, which leads to greater flexibility in the interaction between work processes.
Cegal has many clients who use TIA Solution both on-prem and in the cloud. Cegal has successfully transferred many customers' TIA Solution applications to Oracle Cloud. Amongst other things, we have also implemented a Kubernetes cluster for TIA.
We have many consultants who specialise in TIA Solution and are accustomed to working with the application, in addition to engaging in troubleshooting and the adjustment of help, e.g. through a "HealthCheck".
