What does a typical workday look like to you?

I’m the only employee in Canada so do many things, i.e. customer support, sales visits, sales forecasting paying our company bills and taxes, etc.  I enjoy doing a bit of everything and every day is different.
Since I am the only employee here, I depend on our technical resources from Houston, and therefore they are often visiting our customers in Canada.

Which technologies do you work with?

I spend most of my time in MS office apps but always look forward to working with our Blueback plugins in Petrel when I have time.

What drives you at work and in your role, what's fun?

I enjoy working with people including colleagues and customers.  An ideal day for me is visiting new customers, learning how they work, and creating interest in our products and services.

What is the best thing about working in Cegal?

Flexibility in how I organize my time and the fact that each day is different and challenging.

Which app do you use the most, and why?

I use Teams a lot, it’s a great communication tool.

What is your favorite quote?

The reasonable man adapts to the world, therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Is there anything else we should know about you?

I’ve traveled to many amazing places and met so many interesting people thanks to having a career in Geosciences; I wouldn’t trade the experiences for anything.

I did some amateur motorcycle road racing for 6 years and rode at numerous race tracks in Canada and US. I went several laps as a passenger with a world motor racing legend which changed how I see motorcycles.
