Now we are looking for a Test Manager that wants to influence the direction within the testing domain and contribute to achieve that the level of quality in our deliveries exceed customer expectations.

About the job

Work tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop frameworks, strategies, standards, methodologies and policies within test management and quality assurance.
  • Develop functional and non-functional testing strategies, plans and standards using industry best practice
  • Responsible for the preparation and execution of detailed test plans, furthermore monitoring, evaluation and reporting of testing progress, risks and issues.

Work experience from one or several areas within

  • Strong and proven test management experience
  • Strong and proven test analysis and quality assurance skills with complex projects
  • Good understanding of quality assurance and testing concepts
  • Experience in developing overall testing strategies in the functional and non-functional testing spaces
  • Change – and Project Management skills and experience in managing multiple concurrent projects while supervising a small team
  • Good knowledge of IT platforms, hardware and desktop / server applications
  • Knowledge and experience with QA and test management in DevOps environments

Personal qualifications

  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communications skills: ability to engage and communicate with wide range of stakeholders.
  • Time management, organizational skills, ability to manage competing priorities and determined to meet deadlines

Formal requirements 

  • Education within one or more directions: Information Technology, Programming or similar
  • Preferable with relevant experience within development and/or test automation.
  • Master the Norwegian and English language, both written and oral
